Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nate Berliner and Jake Berenguer Lead Bellarmine College Prep to Victory

Bellarmine College Prep won the last time they faced Junipero Serra and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bells walked away with a 3-1 win over the Padres.

Bellarmine College Prep was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 27-29, 25-15.

Bellarmine College Prep was led to victory by Jake Berenguer and Nate Berliner. Berenguer had six digs and five aces, while Berliner had 20 digs and one assist. Those five aces gave Berenguer a new career-high. Krithik Sambatkumar also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Bellarmine College Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Bellarmine College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Junipero Serra, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-14.

Looking ahead, Bellarmine College Prep will head out to challenge Saint Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Junipero Serra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
