Football Game Preview: Northeast Metro RVT Knights vs. Blue Hills RVT Warriors

The Northeast Metro RVT Knights will face off against the Blue Hills RVT Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northeast Metro RVT is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They breezed past Upper Cape Cod RVT to the tune of 51-6. With the Knights ahead 37-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ryan Beede had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 100 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 80 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lucas De Oliveira, who gained 94 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northeast Metro RVT was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blue Hills RVT, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Lynn Vo-Tech on Thursday as they made off with a 60-36 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

Northeast Metro RVT's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.8 points over those games. As for Blue Hills RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
