Basketball Recap: Wichita County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Deerfield last Friday, Wichita County came back down to earth. The Wichita County Indians fell to the Greeley County Jackrabbits 50-45. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jackrabbits apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Wichita County now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Greeley County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6.

Wichita County has already played their next contest (against Dighton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Greeley County will be playing in front of their home fans against Decatur Community on Friday.
