Basketball Recap: Old Orchard Beach Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sacopee Valley last Friday, Old Orchard Beach came back down to earth. The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Traip Rangers. The Seagulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Old Orchard Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Traip, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Old Orchard Beach will square off against Monmouth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Traip, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Dirigo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
