While Scott County's victory against Lexington Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

Scott County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Scott County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-1. As for Lexington Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Scott County will head out to square off against Simon Kenton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lexington Christian, they will welcome Trinity Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
