            Volleyball Recap: Kirkwood Cobras vs. White House-Heritage Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            Kirkwood had won four straight home games  and  Jada Taylor did her part to make it five on Monday. Everything went the Cobras' way against the White House-Heritage Patriots as they made off with  a  3-0 victory with plenty of help from  Taylor, who  had nine  digs and three  aces. She has been hot, having also posted 15 or more  assists the last five times she's  played.
 Kirkwood's got stronger as the match went on, holding White House-Heritage to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-21,  25-12.

 Kirkwood got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Taylor Lyons out in front who  had nine  digs and two  assists. Those  nine  digs gave  Lyons a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camilla Moss, who  had six  digs and two  aces.
Kirkwood's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for White House-Heritage, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-9.
 Looking ahead, Kirkwood will challenge West Creek at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for White House-Heritage, they will take on Greenbrier at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
