Soccer Recap: American Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

American Leadership Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Ninety Six on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, American Leadership Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Kayleigh Purdy, who's now up to 22 this season.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Ninety Six, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, American Leadership Academy will face off against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ninety Six does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
