Lincoln came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the MacArthur Generals. The Railsplitters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Lincoln's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-14. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for MacArthur, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 loss against Pleasant Plains on the 14th. As for MacArthur, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Maroa-Forsyth on the 15th.
