Basketball Recap: Baltic Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Baltic can now relate to. They were dealt a 70-22 defeat at the hands of the West Central Trojans on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Baltic's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for West Central, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

Baltic will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCook Central/Montrose on January 20, 2026. As for West Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Valley is on a four-game streak of home wins, West Central a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
