Football Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mt. Pleasant couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were outmatched by the DeWitt Panthers and fell 54-20. The Oilers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

Traverse Moore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for DeWitt, rushing for 397 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 64 yards and one touchdown. Moore's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Another player making a difference was Channing Ridley, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Pleasant fell to 13-1. As for DeWitt, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

As of now, neither Mt. Pleasant nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
