Basketball Recap: Methuen's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Methuen can now relate to. They fell to the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans 72-66. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th in Massachusetts, while the Trojans are ranked fifth in Massachusetts).

Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.0 points over those games. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
