Brookeland extended their postseason success on Thursday against Avalon. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Wildcats have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the 11th in a row for Brookeland, bringing their record up to 21-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Avalon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11-1.

As of now, neither Brookeland nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
