Softball Recap: Croton-Harmon Starts Season with Loss at Home

Croton-Harmon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 20-3 to the Somers Tuskers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2015.

The win was the third in a row for Somers, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Croton-Harmon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on May 15. As for Somers, they will head out to challenge Fox Lane at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
