It's playoff time, and Rutherford had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Becton Wildcats 7-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Rutherford is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Becton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

As of now, neither Rutherford nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
