Milford is 8-2 against Donovan since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Milford Bearcats duke it out with the Donovan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Milford will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Milford earned a 44-31 victory over La Salette Academy.

Meanwhile, Donovan came up short against Clifton Central on Friday and fell 65-56.

Milford will need focus on slowing down Carter Ponton, one of several Donovan players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine assists. Ponton has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Brendan Hennieke was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

Even though they lost, Donovan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Donovan dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Milford, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-17.

Everything came up roses for Milford against Donovan in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 58-28 victory. Will Milford repeat their success, or does Donovan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
