Recap: Omaha Nation Chiefs vs. Walthill Blujays
After flying high against the Whiting Warriors last Monday, the Omaha Nation Chiefs came back down to earth. Omaha Nation fell 81-69 to Walthill on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Omaha Nation can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Walthill is ranked 98th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walthill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Parker, who scored 21 points. Parker hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keesan Kaaihue, who scored 16 points.
Omaha Nation's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Walthill, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Omaha Nation didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-33 defeat vs. Tri County Northeast on the 10th. Walthill has also already played their next match, a 55-42 loss against Ponca on the 10th.
