Volleyball Recap: Wilkinson County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Wilkinson County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Jefferson County Tigers on Wednesday.

The win (which was Jefferson County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Jefferson County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against South Pike on the 21st. Hopefully Wilkinson County paid attention to the Tigers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
