Volleyball Recap: Christ the Cornerstone Academy Comes Up Short

Christ the Cornerstone Academy entered their contest against Mintz Christian Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Defenders lost 3-0 to the Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

While Christ the Cornerstone Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mintz Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-18.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Mintz Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.
