Dinuba won the last time they faced Mission Oak and NATHANIEL LOPEZ did his part to make sure it happened again. The Emperors enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over the Hawks on Friday for which the team can thank LOPEZ, who rushed for 140 yards. He is becoming a predictor of Dinuba's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 4-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

Dinuba didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as MARTIN AGUILAR, DEVIN LESTER, and JAYDON ROJAS picked up one apiece. AGUILAR is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last five games he's played.

The win got Dinuba back to even at 5-5. As for Mission Oak, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Dinuba will be playing at home against Kingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Emperors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mission Oak, they will square off against Golden West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
