Boone Central is a perfect 3-0 against St. Paul since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Boone Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Boone Central beat Centura 24-20.

Boone Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kade Hudson, who threw for 212 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Brogan Benes helped Hudson out on the ground, rushing for 97 yards and one score.

Boone Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kaden Miller, Jacob Miller, and Max Grosch picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three game, St. Paul brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They strolled past Cross County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 31-16. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Boone Central's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for St. Paul, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Boone Central strolled past St. Paul in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 23-7. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
