Volleyball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North RedHawks. The Pioneers were not able to make up for their loss to the RedHawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

North found their leader in sophomore Sydney Araiza, who had ten digs and two aces.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for North, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, West and North will both be playing East the next time they take the court. The RedHawks will head out to face the Aces at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
