It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Simla Cubs had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 62-24 at home. The victory was just business As usual For Simla, who after 20 games remain undefeated this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Simla to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brent Bowker, who scored 15 points along with three steals and two blocks. Bowker is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Treven Kocerha, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Despite the defeat, Evangel Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Nate Lucia scored seven points along with eight rebounds.

Simla's victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-0. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Simla will challenge Byers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Byers is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
