Basketball Recap: Belgrade Comes Up Short

Belgrade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bozeman Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-50 back in January.

Belgrade's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bozeman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Belgrade will take on Russell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bozeman, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Bozeman Hawks take on the Skyview Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
