Basketball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison was the 65-62 winner over Secaucus when they last played one another on January 6th, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrison Blue Tide fell 55-45 to the Secaucus Patriots on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blue Tide came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Patriots are ranked 359th).

Harrison has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Secaucus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Harrison has already played their next contest (against Weehawken), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Secaucus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-59 defeat against Lyndhurst on the 23rd.
