Washington is 3-0 against Willow Canyon since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Washington Rams will square off against the Willow Canyon Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Washington has ten straight wins, Willow Canyon has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Washington's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Glendale. Give the Rams' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

They hit Glendale with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Pablo Morquecho, Rafael Valdez, Junior Villalba Martinez, and Samweli Mpenda.

Meanwhile, Willow Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Centennial on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Washington pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Willow Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Washington took their win against Willow Canyon when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 5-0. Does Washington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Willow Canyon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
