Softball Recap: Scott Beavers vs. Cimarron Bluejays

Scott had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-7 to make it seven. They came up short against the Cimarron Bluejays, falling 18-12. The Beavers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Piper Fox made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Felker, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Cimarron, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
