Football Recap: Domenico Doran Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Serra + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sierra Canyon, Bishop Amat was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Serra Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 24-7. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 38-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bishop Amat's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Domenico Doran led the charge by throwing for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Ryan Salcedo handled things on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Bishop Amat didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Serra to a completion percentage of just 48.1%. The Lancers hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.27 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Bishop Amat is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Serra, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
