Football Recap: Piketon Redstreaks vs. Northwest Mohawks
Piketon took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). Their defense stepped up to hand the Northwest Mohawks a 26-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redstreaks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2020.
Piketon wouldn't let Northwest keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Braden Scott, Cohner Daniels, and Noah Ross picked up one apiece.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piketon will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Wellston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will square off against McClain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
