Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson managed to slip by Chapel Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Red Devils on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bulldogs haven't been shut out since back in February.

Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14-1 record this season. As for Chapel Hill, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record.

Jefferson will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Daingerfield at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Chapel Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Spring Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
