On Friday, Alex Van Saase earned his first-ever forced fumble. He also made four total tackles (2.0 for loss) as Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology fell to Lewis 32-6. Our internal rating system judged Friday's effort as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Van Saase and Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Sadly, Van Saase's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Colonials' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Van Saase and the Colonials surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into the 24th's match.
