Baseball Recap: Parker Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Parker entered their tilt with Huffman on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 13-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-1 victory two weeks ago.

The team relied heavily on Terrion Nevels, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Willis, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Parker was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .391 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Parker's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Huffman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Parker will face off against Shades Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huffman, they will square off against Clay-Chalkville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
