Hoover lost against Rehobeth back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Rehobeth, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1.

Looking ahead, Hoover will take on Madison County in a tournament on Saturday. As for Rehobeth, they will head out on the road to square off against Benjamin Russell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.32 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
