Soccer Recap: Pope John Paul II Takes a Loss

Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brentwood Academy Eagles.

Pope John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Brentwood Academy, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4-1 and their overall record up to 5-6-1.

Coming up, Pope John Paul II will be playing at home against Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brentwood Academy, they will challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
