 Sadly, Leake County is still looking for their first win of the season after four  games. They fell victim to a  rough 20-0 loss at the hands of the Stringer Red Devils  on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Leake County of the  15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2021.
 For Stringer's part,  Madilyn Graham made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Graham has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Graham was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Stringer got a  massive  performance out of  Hannah Buckley, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Kayleigh Douglas was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Leake County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Stringer, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-4-1 record  this season.
 While Leake County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
