Orangeville had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dakota Indians by a score of 49-37. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Indians are ranked 290th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dakota's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makenna Stuckey, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds, and Cora Ingram, who posted 13 points. Stuckey has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Orangeville pushed their record up to 27-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Dakota, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
