Volleyball Recap: Clear Lake Falls to Colusa in First Game of Season

Clear Lake kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Colusa RedHawks, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Clear Lake was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Marlie Berry, who had six digs and three aces.

Coming up, Clear Lake will square off against Upper Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colusa, they will take on West Valley in a tournament on Saturday.
