Tenino strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Kalama Chinooks.

Jude Leitch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Leitch was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Austin Gonia was a standout: he scored two runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Will Feltus was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Tenino was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Tenino's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Kalama, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenino will welcome Montesano at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kalama, they will be playing at home against Napavine at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Chinooks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
