Afton is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Caney Valley a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Afton Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Caney Valley Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Afton didn't have quite enough to beat Chelsea and fell 4-3.

Levi Turley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Caney Valley lost 15-2 to Skiatook on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Caney Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Gipson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Cylan Gailey also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
