After losing to Centennial the last time they met, Creede decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Miners came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Creede had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-9.

Creede's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Centennial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Creede and Centennial will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Miners see the court they'll take on Mountain Valley at 11:00 a.m. on the 17th. As for Centennial, their break will end when they face Hanover at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
