East Central won the last time they faced Lawrenceburg, and Joel Richter did his part to make sure it happened again. The East Central Trojans were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over the Lawrenceburg Tigers on Thursday thanks in part to Richter, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Liam Rogers was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last eight games he's played.

Despite the loss, Lawrenceburg still got an impressive performance from Noah Knigga, who went 6 of 14 to rack up 12 points. Another player making a difference was JP Izzo, who put up five points and six boards.

East Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Lawrenceburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

East Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-28 defeat against Columbus North on the 8th. As for Lawrenceburg, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Cougars at 1:30 p.m. on February 15th.
