Volleyball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Hyde Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carver Challengers. If the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Challengers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Hyde Park sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-23.

Hyde Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carver, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
