If the Faith Christian Knights were riding high off their 78-38 takedown of the Ridge Christian Academy Paladins last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Faith Christian fell 52-42 to Charleston Collegiate on Friday. Faith Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Charleston Collegiate apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Leading Charleston Collegiate to victory were Grant Morrison and Thomas Reed. Morrison dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 assists, while Reed dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Thomas Doyle, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Charleston Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Faith Christian will head out on the road to challenge Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Charleston Collegiate, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Riverpointe Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Riverpointe Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
