The American Fork Cavemen will head out on the road to square off against the Lone Peak Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Fork is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

If American Fork beats Lone Peak with three goals on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Cavemen walked away with a 3-1 win over Lehi on Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering American Fork's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Lehi are ranked 40th).

American Fork hit Lehi with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miller Hall, Lewis Knecht, and Preston Osborne.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Thunder. That's two games straight that Lone Peak have won by just one goal.

Lone Peak pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for American Fork, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Everything went American Fork's way against Lone Peak when the teams last played on April 11th, as American Fork made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavemen since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
