Softball Game Preview: Bedford Bulldogs vs. Bishop Guertin Cardinals

The Bedford Bulldogs will take on the Bishop Guertin Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bedford is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Bedford lost 9-3 to Dover on Monday.

Emmerson Larochelle was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Meanwhile, Bishop Guertin got themselves on the board against Nashua South on Monday, but Nashua South never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Purple Panthers. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Purple Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bishop Guertin's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bedford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Bedford suffered a grim 16-3 defeat to Bishop Guertin in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
