Basketball Recap: Dasche Beats Kokomo Homeschool for Their Third Straight Win

DasCHE proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 25) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 71-68 victory over the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since December 28, 2024.

DasCHE had a senior duo take command as Jadon Comeaux went 8-for-15 on his way to 21 points and Liam O'Grady shot 45% from the field en route to 17 points and six boards. Comeaux's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hernandez, who posted 11 points.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dane Beery, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 24 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Beery has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Maximus Hogsett, who earned 11 points and five assists.

The victory (which was DasCHE's third in a row) raised their record to 24-17. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, their record now sits at 32-13.

As of now, neither DasCHE nor Kokomo HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
