Volleyball Recap: Coldspring-Oakhurst Comes Up Short

Coldspring-Oakhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Chester Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Coldspring-Oakhurst now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Chester, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Coldspring-Oakhurst's road trip will continue as they head out to face Normangee at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chester, they will take on Corrigan-Camden in a tournament on Thursday.
