Volleyball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Siegel Stars by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mallory Corbin paced Loretto's offense, picking up 11 kills. Corbin got some help from Ella Potts and her 12 assists. Taylor Laws controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Siegel, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Loretto has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Austin-East on the 23rd. As for Siegel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lovett on the 22nd.
