Basketball Recap: Ida Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ida had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-40 win over the Hudson Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Bluestreaks: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 50-47 loss.

Ida's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Hudson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ida will face off against Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Adrian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ida surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hudson, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
