Softball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against O'Neill back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians fell 10-6 to the Raiders. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angie Wheeler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Wheeler has hit this season.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will square off against Chester at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for O'Neill, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Eldred at 4:15 p.m.
