Baseball Game Preview: Steinbrenner Warriors vs. Hillsborough Terriers

The Steinbrenner Warriors will face off against the Hillsborough Terriers at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steinbrenner will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Steinbrenner saw some tournament action on Monday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over Cambridge Christian.

Dylan Kolsen was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Chase Petker was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Hillsborough lost 7-1 to Robinson on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Terriers in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Steinbrenner now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hillsborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Steinbrenner was able to grind out a solid victory over Hillsborough in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, winning 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Steinbrenner since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
